Job Description:

The Manager-Processing-Data Integrity manages clerical support and release of information staff and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of maintaining the accurate and efficient flow of medical record information, which includes electronic applications development, systems coordination and maintenance, medical record information integrity and the retention and storage of medical records, regardless of medium, in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Manager-Processing-Data Integrity is responsible for managing the processing of all medical record release of information requests in a timely and accurate manner.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Management, or Management OR degree to be obtained within six (6) months of hire into position.

Experience:

One (1) year experience working in relevant Medical Records Department operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:

One (1) year supervisory experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
