Patient Access to and Fees Charged for Copies of Patient Health Care Records in Wisconsin Changes For those of you involved with health care facilities in Wisconsin, be aware that effective 6/30/09 the passsage of Act 28 removes the authority of the Department of Health Services to establish maximum fees for copies of health care records. These fees are now set in statute. This Act also modified language regarding patient access to health care records. Click Here for information from the WI Health Information Management Association
