    • The Minnesota Health Information Management Association (MHIMA) is the state association of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Founded in 1935, MHIMA continues to be a premier association of health information management (HIM) professionals.

    We are committed to advancing the HIM profession in an increasingly electronic and global environment through leadership, education and best practices.


    The MHIMA Nominating Committee is seeking your recommendations for an individual deserving of being recognized as MHIMA's 2012 Distinguished Member. This is a way to recognize excellence within our association. The 2012 Distinguished Member will be celebrated on April 26, 2012, at our 2012 Annual Meeting. Submit names of nominees by completing the Candidate Profile for Distinguished Member by February 17, 2012, and email to Sue Jensen, chair of the 2012 Nominating Committee.
