The 2011 edition of the MHIMA Legal Resource Manual For Health Information Management in Minnesota is available.

This resource manual continues to serve as the comprehensive resource for Health Information professionals. It includes the laws and rules that address the majority of issues that may arise with respect to health information practice. It is a compilation of best practices and experience of health information professionals and the facilities they represent in Minnesota. All health information departments should have this Manual.

The Manual's contents are on a single CD in PDF file format, and Adobe Reader is needed on your computer or laptop.

The best news is that we have new pricing for the 2011 Manual:
  • $150 MHIMA/AHIMA members (tax-exempt organizations)
  • $200 non-members (tax-exempt)
  • $90 student members of AHIMA with MN as their designated state and enrolled in a tax exempt educational program

    Individuals ordering from organizations who are not MN sales-tax exempt will be charged MN sales tax in addition to the prices listed above.
